Orange Jackets in Texas Thon
Every March, Longhorns and friends from the Dells Children’s Medical Center meet at Gregory Gym for a full day of activities and fun. Texas THON is a student run philanthropy dedicated to miracles and the children at Dell's. We’ve enjoyed the pancake nights and profit shares, but we can’t wait for THON! Texas Orange Jackets is proud to have a few of THON’s membership in our organization. Scroll down to see why Lauren Caton and Samantha Meyer love Texas THON!
The people in Texas THON are some of the most passionate individuals I have ever met! They dedicate countless hours to putting on events and fundraising, without asking for any kind of recognition in return. All the energy from our year long efforts in the 12 hour stand For The Kids at Dell Children's Medical Center and their families, which treats children regardless of their abilities to pay! To see the children and their families on the Day Of the event makes everything worthwhile! - Lauren Caton
I have been involved with THON since my freshman year, and I look forward to dancing FTK every spring! I love how THON brings people from all across UT together under one roof, for one cause. It's really magical to see the campus community come together for these kids and be the loudest, proudest support system for the families at Dell Children's Medical Center! - Samantha Meyer
